…geoengineering the climate is being discussed. One such extreme option includes shooting pollution particles into the upper atmosphere to reflect the sun’s rays.
I (vaguely) recall that when this proposal was first put forward several years ago (allegedly by a Nobel winning scientist?) that it was considered a hoax.
Assuming it worked, assuming reflecting/deflecting the sun’s rays was a good idea, how long would it last, a week or two ?
It certainly sounds ludicrous.
