I watched the Admiral and it it was obvious they wanted non violent solution. However Obama did give cover to the commander who decided to take the shots. The cover was the immenant danger to Captain Phillips. He was in danger the whole time not just that moment. So the Seals took the head shots and suceeded.
Kudos to the USN, commander, and the SEALS. Alos Obam did allow the military to solve this so he deserves kudos also.
Obama may have not been great but he was not bad either. He did not mucromanage and that was good.
