It’s weird, but Obama’s awkward bow reminds me of his stupid Special Olympics comment on Jay Leno. It’s like he gets nervous and then does something pathetic. Like the special olympics incident, my immediate reaction is to feel embarrassed for him.
But why did he bow when he got nervous? To me this is the ultimate example of the leftist soft bigotry. In a way he worships the ‘other’, because above all things, the king of leftists wants to be able to claim he has a special relationship and special understanding of the ‘other’ culture. He will trade everything else for the sake of being able to claim superior cultural awareness. Even if it means he is bowing to a foreign leader who happens to have little respect for the people he rules. This is foreign policy 101 according to Obama.
