As a former TSA supervisor, I can relate; the upper management was inept and refused to listen to anyone that didn’t come from the FAA school of thought. Our airport TSA staff had several retired military senior NCOs assigned as sup’s and w/in a year we had all quit due to the lead by intimidation principle. The rank and file workers are for the most part great, but management sucks.
