McCain is an American icon: the gun-toting maverick that loves his country and family above all else. Telling him what to do is going to get you the same result as kicking a grizzly bear in the stomach. Oh, and don’t think about trying to pay him off, he doesn’t need your money and would rather clean his nether orifice with ill-gotten cash. He is what real Americans (not quiche eating New Englanders) identify as the kind of guy that made this country what it is.
Personally, I’d like to punch him in the face for half a dozen things he’s said or done but at the end of the day I’ll vote for him because I trust him to use his best judgement in running the country and not letting outside interests cloud his decisions.
