Dear Mr. Bradley: The TIMES story is squalid and idiotically written. Trouble is, in denying it, McCain has locked himself into a rigid stance. No parsing in the manner of Billyboy, here. And as Mickey Kaus is pointing out:

McCain’s denial is already getting more complicated and starting to unravel. I do not think he has heard the last of this. Nor have we, the clumsy knifing by the TIMES notwithstanding.
