The Somalis are fervent Muslims and this elder would have assumed that Obama, son of a Muslim father, was himself Muslim. Had he known Obama had become a kafir by his conversion to Chrisianity,he would never have honored him with this gift of tribal dress.
Did Obama simply mislead his host in the matter of his faith? Are his African Muslim relatives aware of it? Obama’s Chicago church will accept Muslims as members.
