#45: Frank: Bingo! The dangerous part of the assault weapon ban is that if it is enacted, then what will stop these bleeding heart libs from declaring that ALL guns (including shotguns and handguns) are assault weapons, therefore giving them the power to essentially revoke the 2nd Amendment?
Also, as I post this on Sunday night, there have now been two more incidents of mass killing – the three cops gunned down in Pittsburgh (plus another one injured) and the kook in Washington state who murdered his five children because he thought his wife was about to leave him. Add to that the massacre at the Nebraska nursing home earlier in the week, that makes four such tragedies in six days.
What is this country coming to? As the article points out, these incidents of mass killings are starting to become more and more frequent, at an alarming rate.
