Much of the blame for this nonsense belongs to politically correct Republicans like George W. Bush and John McCain. Needless to add, the Democrats are usually even worse on this issue. They all are fearful of being unfairly charged with racism. Only center-right politicians seemingly have their act together. The rest of them are inhibited by race guilt.
Elections have consequences. Remember that the next time you vote in 2010.
