I live in TX14. I am also active in Republican politics there. My take is that most precinct chairs in TX14 plan to vote for Peden. I plan to. So will our friends and relations.
Paul-bots do not typically live in TX-14. Even in 2006 a primary challenger got 36% of the vote against Paul. Republicans there support both Bush and the war. Paul? He is manning the barricades against both with the likes of Nancy Pelosi and Jack Murtha.
If Republicans wanted a Democrat representing them, we would elect one. Paul is in trouble.
