Seriously, whenever I see a mosque in a western city I feel sick. If anything is a symbol of oppression of free will and a slavish adherence to a violent tribal ethic long gone, it is those domes and minarets. And yes, they do attract the evil and the dangerous likes flowers attract bees.

But here’s my suggestion: for every mosque built in the west how about there’s a cathedral or church founded in the east? Surely the ‘religion of peace’ would be happy to encourage a choice of spirituality in their homelands, right?

No, I didn’t think so either.
