This jihadi outpost really isn’t the equivalent of any religious institution, it’s the equivalent of an outpost of the Kremlin, staffed by the KGB, built with the cooperation of the Boston city government during the middle of the cold war.
If we were allied with the Russians in the same way we’re allied with the Gulf Wahhabis, would we have won the cold war?
