I’m a muslim lebanese girl who was born and raised in Canada. This is not part of islam what so ever, no where in the quran does it permit this but sadly people combine culture with religion. I am offended that this family would even be called muslim. Would you call hitler a true christian? no because his actions were not christian and this families actions are not associated with islam. I hate hearing cases like this and wonder what Quran do these people read!? since I have read the Quran and none of their actions are acceptable. “Killing one person is like killing all of man kind” this family and any other family like them is corrupted and only God “ALlah” will punish them for there sins. Islam denounces honour killing and domestic violence and man arent even allowed to even push their wives this coming from Islam but the culture has changed it to suite their actions. Also about sharia law no ones trying to being it into the west and if you truly believe that than you are lead by fear which the media and hate filled people use to scare you and have an excuse for their actions in the middle east. I denounce violence and honour killing and Live in peace with all my fellow human. When I see cases like this I wonder how these people can live with themselves and often religion is the the case but the people themselves. The actions of these people are not islamic and have no core in our religion its like saying Robert Pickton is a true christian. Sharia law will never enter the west and I am happy with the Canadian laws they are a representation of how the laws should be in middle eastern countries because I truly believe they fit the islamic justice and law system.
