Guilty: Muslim Family in Canada Convicted in Honor Killings
The punishments Shafia got is justified they will spend their lives in prison. I highly doubt they will ever be accepted for parole. For those Americans who have no idea Canada is multicultural it is part of our culture and is part of being Canadian. We are very fortunate to have a very diverse group of people in Canada. The Conservatives (Equivalent to Democrats Politically)are making backwards progress by restricting the freedom of people entering the country one example would be making it illegal to wear the hijab or burkha when taking the oath of citizenship. This is disgusting and hopefully can be reversed the Conservative government hopefully will lose the next election to the NDP (Social Democrats and the Opposition)and this horrible law can be removed. For those of you who speak ill of Islam i would suggest you go to a Muslim community and actually learn something, go to a mosque, and read the Qur’an you will see completely differently.
