Much ado about nothing. This Shuster character was being a bit too cute, made a stupid remark, got called on it, was forced to publicly grovel before She Who Must Be Obeyed, and it is over. Can you imagine the reaction if a conservative made the same remark? Why, liberal Champions of Free Speech would still be howling, calls for congressional investigations would be heard, the New York Times editorial board would be in a state of apoplexy for weeks, and the alphabet network talking heads would have months worth of grist for their mill. Still, much ado about nothing.
