I understand and sympathize with your points on PC, which is too often merely a means to silence, but I have to admit that I would be offended if someone were to say I was pimping my daughter, too. Maybe I’m nostalgic for a by-gone era, but there are more polite ways of making the point, and serious journalists should guard human dignity, even in tragic circumstances.
