This is all well and good but the fact is Hilary cannot win the general election and is almost certainly not going to win the primary. This has been clear emotionally, if not mathematically, for some time now. Obama, however, can win – unless Republican operatives are Certain Obama is getting a lot of anti-Hilary votes from independents in the primaries, which have more idiosyncratic rules than I can be bothered keeping track of. Because mark me – Obama will trounce McCain in the general on the simple grounds that he is the Anti-Bush, a sentiment that has entirely taken over the liberals for over 7 years, and that has taken hold of many conservatives who will either stay home or even vote Obama to avoid a “compassionate” McCain presidency. Personally, I think Obama would be a disaster, and even the vaunted “the world would love us again” crap would prove utterly ephemeral as soon as President Obama, Commander in Chief of the US Armed Forces, actually had to address “the world,” which is collection of recriminatory political Huns. Please, we know Hilary’s a shit – and so do enough people to prevent her from winning the nomination. Focus fire on Obama!
