No witch burnings in the U.S. or the colonies from which it was formed — ever. You probably have a dim memory of the English statute De heretico comburendo.

The colloquial term for Friends is “Quakers”, not “Quackers”. You probably have a dim memory of “duckspea” from 1984.

The U.S. was formed from a number of colonies besides Massachusetts and the defunct Plymouth, including Catholic Maryland, Cavalier Virginia, and convict Georgia. You probably have a dim memory of wishing that the northern colonies had had the good sense to join also.

It’s pathetic when a Canadian shows his ignorance of history.
