Guilty: Muslim Family in Canada Convicted in Honor Killings
There has never been any value for life since Muhammed’s pestilence sprang from the desert 1300 years ago. To the extent that we in the Christian West have any sense of history at all, it is through a European and largely Roman Catholic lens that we look at the history of the Eastern Roman Empire and the Muslim conquest. Today’s political correctness further distorts the view. The Eastern Roman Empire was rich and vibrant long after the collapse of the Western Empire and for some time even held the rich North African provinces that had been taken from Rome by the Vandals. What is now the North African desert was once the breadbasket of Rome supplying grapes, olives, and wheat. The “modern” Roman Carthage, not the one destroyed by the Romans, was a city of over 100,000 people with extensive public works, aqueducts, etc. The whole of Roman Africa was highly developed and settled by Romans, often retired soldiers.
It took them almost 800 years and some help from Europeans, but the Muslims managed to completely destroy an advanced civilization in the Eastern Roman Empire. Much of the art, architecture, and science that the politically correct so love to give credit to the Muslims for was actually pilfered from the Byzantines and quickly allowed to go to rot and ruin. It should also be remembered that ALL of the Middle East west of Persia, all of North Africa, and all of The Balkans was once Christian. With Muslim conquest the Christians were forced to convert, forced into dhimmitude, or killed, though not to be too kind to the Byzantines many Christians from congregations deemed heretical by the Eastern Church sided with the Muslims because dhimmitude was preferable to persecution as heretics.
In the bluntest terms, Islam is a barbaric cult that has fouled its nest everywhere it has spread. The practice of Islam is fundamentally incompatible with life in the Western world and Muslims will not accept a “live and let live” attitude towards others. One will be a Muslim, a dhimmi, or dead. It may well be too late for the Europeans to effectively resist Muslim conquest and the sooner we in North America accept that we cannot tolerate the practice of this evil cult, the safer we will be.
