Guilty: Muslim Family in Canada Convicted in Honor Killings
Thank you for remembering us of such tragedies:
Multiculturalism implies that one (we) has (have) to respect other Cultures, more than one (we) has (have) to respect human lives, and notably, those of the weakest (*) memebers of (human) society, such as (children and) women/females.
Same goes for the Respect of Religions, and/or (religious, atheist, political, whatever) Ideologies:
they appearently have always been more respected than human or living beings themselves. How weird, how deceptive, what a lack of Realism, of Truthfulness.
Lightful/loveful/beautiful life/-ves to Phyllis Chesler and to everyone.
(*) pregnancy and delivering and rearing children puts a woman in a weaker condition, compared to that of an (undependant) man (a mother does depend on the child, as much as the child depends on her – this comes from the Nature, Mother Nature, of from God, Father God, it isn’t something that depends on my personal point of view, or on another’s point of view -). Psychologically and practically the woman is buisy and engaged with the baby, and she is not free (enough) to go out and do other jobs, in order to earn-money-and-buy-goods. This gives to … men … a kind of power upon women (and children included
- though eventually children are those who are the most submitted/subjugated beings of the hierarchical pyramid, and this matter, with its implications, deserves to be more largely discussed -). And this difference about “Freedom’s opportunities” (or “Undependancy’s opportunities”) has been exploited, most probably since the beginning of the times (…), by (hu)mankind – in a disadvantageous way for … women, and children -.
