I think there’s a good reason the Louisiana results are so racially polarized: There aren’t any young white people there anymore.

I’m serious. Look at CNN’s exit polls. 18 to 29 year old white voters make up only 3% of the democratic electorate and didn’t even show up in big enough numbers to provide valid exit poll data. After New Orleans, I guess the younger white voters left the state, leaving only older white voters and black voters, hence the polarization.
