Moochy, so you are admitting that you hate Rush, then? Nice to see a liberal admit it when they hate someone.
I don’t hate Jon Stewart. As I said, I think he’s funny. But if you think it’s only cheer he’s spreading, talk to a child who lost their parent in the war and flipped on the Daily Show to see Jon’s “Mess-o-potamia” skits. Because your arguments on here are obviously driven by emotion rather than actual analysis, that is something that should translate even to you. That doesn’t bother you?

That’s just it, you’ve hit it exactly. He hides behind comedy and surrounds himself with a conformist studio audience, so when he goes after a guy like Cramer, he never has to worry about someone going after him. I have seen the daily show many times, and whenever someone makes a point that doesn’t fit the political point he is trying to lamely and adolescently make, he simply turns it into a joke and pretend that was his intention all along. It is dishonest and cowardly. I might actually respect him if he ever had to answer for or substantiate his own opinions. At least Rush explains in precise detail who he supports and exactly why. Jon never explains who he supports or why, and that is why IMO it most certainly not “his right to enter the discourse”. He hides and calls himself a satirist. Similar to the way you hide in your posts and make accusations that others “rant” while apparently you believe your own name-calling is something else.

If all you know about Rush is that he insulted Michael Steele, seems to me you don’t have enough information to make that conclusion. So I will choke on exactly nothing. But, I would recommend a little introspection — for instance, turning your ideas inside out and upside down, forwards and backwards, really make an effort to figure out exactly what it is you are really trying to say, before inflicting your posts on us. But I will still read them anyway
