“The point that some of you seem to gloss over with regard to Stewart is the tactics he uses and the fact that many people are fooled into thinking his show is anything more than a bit of comedy.”
Which is not Stewart’s fault, any more than people follow Cramer’s idiot recommendations. What some people here keep missing is the fact that Stewart has never, ever, EVER claimed to be more than a comedian. He debunks any effort to see him as more than that.
The fact that he, on occasion, wants to have a serious conversation does not mean he stops being a comedian. It’s his right to enter the discourse.
Cramer, on the other hand, allows his network to sell the notion IN CRAMER WE TRUST. Which makes him the biggest liar going.
There are people calling Rush the unofficial head of the Republican party. Has he ever said don’t call me that, I’m just an entertainer, or has he allowed this to be said? Frankly, all I know about him is insulted Michael Steele.
