Has my comment been excluded (I saw it was successfully posted, awaiting moderation)? If so, why?

This would seem to prove my point – what is your beef with Stewart’s interview of Mike Huckabee? If my comment cannot pass your moderation, what rational argument do you have for opposing “gay marriage”?

What is your beef with Stewart period?

— ORIGINAL COMMENT —

You raise matters worth discussing, but I question the timing. Stewart’s interview of Cramer was inspired by Santelli’s generalization of struggling home owners as “losers”. (Did he ever qualify that statement?) Stewart made a very important point about some malefactors in the financial sector: We, with our savings, were “capitalizing their adventure”.

I saw the Huckabee interview, but I am not sure what your problem is. Stewart’s point to Huckabee was that conservatives think same-sex sexual activity is something you do, whereas Stewart himself believes so-called “homosexuality” is something you are.

I think Stewart is wrong since the only objective way of knowing if someone is so-called “homosexual” is if they commit a same-sex sexual act. You are not a “homosexual” male if you say you like flowers.

It is, however, far from clear whether conservatives believe or disbelieve in the fiction of “homosexuality”. (For all intents and purposes it is a fiction, unless you want to start claiming – and proving – that Ponzi schemers have a genetic predisposition to kleptomania.)

If conservatives do believe in it, then Stewart’s logic is correct – why bar them from equal rights with so-called “heterosexuals”?
