Yes, but the continued rumbling is a product of kicking the can down the road. That is, the ongoing printing of fiat money and the excessive buying of worthless US and European bonds that delay the inevitable collapse. This needs to stop if we are to have a decent future. We have no children and thus have no vested interest beyond our own mortality. But we, perhaps strangely, care about the long-term future. That would include your children.
