Does anyone ever get the impression that the problems with the world are largely a result of the kind of tone that is displayed here? There are no attempts being made to understand one another, or reconcile viewpoints. Emphasis is placed on differences, with invective and disrepect uttered without regard for the fact that everything here has been thought of by your fellow humans.
Jon Stewart is successful at what he does, as is Rush Limbaugh, and the majority of us couldn’t do what either do – so lets give them credit for their capabilities. And be reminded that civilized discourse is important for improving all our lives.
