The length and format of the show is irrelevant. Stewart is providing a form of media entertainment to a hungry and existing audience, just like Rush and Savage and the like. It’s ALL entertainment. How he does it and which way he goes doesn’t make a difference. He’s there so deal with it.
If young kids get most of their news from his own, it’s their own fault and their parent’s fault. It’s not like intellectualism is rewarded these days. We have candidates like Sarah Palin that would not be able tell you where most countries are located a map.
