I know there’s not many Republicans in Mass. but don’t they at least run somebody?
Unfortunately, no. In 2004, the only Republican candidate on my ballot in Boston was Bush/Cheney. Every other race was uncontested. Even in 2010, Mass-10 was uncontested. I think it’s improving a bit, but it’s tough up here.
