I personally would have loved to see Jim Cramer employ a set and stand up for himself. A few points he could have raised:
1) “Jon, where do you put YOUR money? Did you lose any?” I’d bet Stewart doesn’t keep his scrilla under the mattress.
2) Why the stock market is unpredictable, how it is subject to manipulation, but it is in the long term a weighing machine.
3) That Obama’s policies, as he’d originally said, are causing wealth destruction and why.
4) That Americans are as never before invested in the stock market, so that said policies are hurting ordinary people– and that the investment is good, so the policies are bad.
Most of all, he should have stood up for himself instead of buckling under. For shame.
