Societies and cultures have collapsed or declined into non existance since time immemorial, from Sumer to Rome to the Ottoman Turks to Czarist Russia and may soon include the Judeo Christian West at the hands of it’s own nihilists like Jon Stewart and Islam. Jon Stewart is vicious, mean spirited, hatefilled, and egocentric whose supposed humor or comedy is nothing but character assassination and iconoclasm with nothing positive or worthwhile in his narrative. Just ask yourself what or who did Jon Stewart skewer last time around and what was the sum total of his supposed jest? You will largely find that it is anyone or anything which indentifies with common sense, self control, morality, ethics, or decent behavior and you will find that his humor is often downright cruel and juvenile and after you finish laughing at his debasement of another human being or ideal, you feel as if you need a bath after wallowing in the filth that Jon creates as humor. Yes Jon Stewart is hurting America by his attacks on her values and beliefs, but worse he is hurting Americans by his constant corruption and degradation of the humanity of his audience.
