Iran says that Obams told them this.
Is there any confirmation, from the U.S. or a reliable third party?
If not, I see no point in accepting the claims of known notorious liars.
The only interesting thing is why Iran is putting out this claim.
To embarrass Obama?
To persuade nervous Middle East governments that the U.S. will not act effectively against Iran, at least while Obama is in office?
To discredit U.S. rhetoric against Iran?
