I live in Europe but if I was in the USA, I’d be attending as many tea parties as possible. I agree with poster #5, that they probably don’t do much good but at least it would make me feel better.
Obama could snap his fingers and have a million people in Washington DC this weekend celebrating his greatness. There will even be plenty of movie stars, sport figures and perhaps a few “Republicans” like Colin Powell. No doubt CNN Europe would devote special coverage to the support Obama event.
We are going to need a lot more people turning out for these tea parties. One wonders where all the people with crashed 401Ks are. Obama’s approval rating is 60.2% today. he may have dropped a wee bit but he’s still a long way off from George Bush numbers.
