Obama: Iran Has Nuclear Rights; I Did Not Want to Sanction Its Bank
Iran has threated severe consequences if the sanctions continue and looks like they are prepared to deliver.
Just last week in a bold move the Iranian authorities cracked down on American industry and values by ordering all Barbie dolls removed from store shelves. At this point it is unclear if the ban extends to Ken and Skipper as well.
They are claiming that the move is aimed at upholding ‘traditional Islamic values’ I mean c’mon. Does anybody think that traditional Islamic values are so fragile that the mullahs feel threatened by little girls playing with dolls? Nope, clearly they have discovered the soft underbelly of America and are striking at our very core.
Meanwhile the US Carrier Abraham Lincoln sailed right into the Persian Gulf despite Iranian threats. When asked about the move a top Iranian official was heard to say “Oh that one, we have no problem with that one. It is a nice aircraft carrier It was that other carrier we were talking about. Look the Americans have moved it far away now. See? We are in control here, obviously.”
OK I made up part of one of those but with Iran the truth is wierder than I can imagine. I actually think that makes them more dangerous. They might actually believe in their own BS enough act on it.
