Obama &Co. recruit more and more people for the next tea party every time they speak or act or vote. There is inchoate anger and power here, and if it grows and if it can be focused, it could shake the foundations of Washington. The internet is a valuable tool to get the word out, and despite studious attempts by the MSM to ignore these protests, word of these protests, their spread and increasing size, needs to be broadcast far and wide. I see Newt Gingrich is now climbing on the Bandwagon, and perhaps his organizational and political skills and direction might help, they might hurt, too.
The point of this all is that Washington and individual congressmen are not used to large demonstrations against their actions in the streets—we’ve all been too civilized and polite up till now and, obviously, too easy to ignore–but if very large demonstrations start to converge on congressmen who have betrayed their constituents by voting for Obama’s massive lurch toward Socialism and ruinous taxation and spending, if, say, several hundred thousand or a million angry constituents show up on Capitol Hill, Obama and his crew and congressmen will be much less cavalier about the actions they take and the votes they make; if they are frightened by the growth, the spread, the power and the roar of such a crowd, that is a good thing.
These politicians and this President are not our masters, they are our servants, it is not their money they spend, it is ours, it is not for them to determine our future, or to mortgage future generations to pay for their pitiful little power plays and utopian dreams, these things are not theirs to decide, and by proposing, enabling and voting for such a radical shift leftward and towards Socialism, they betray us all.
