Dear Wolla, old boy. What exactly do you think is going to happen in Britain in “the next decade or two” – I presume you have a theory? Given that the proportion of Muslims in the population is 3% and will never exceed exceed 10% (even on Pipes’ figures) it is unlikely that you would ever see a guy in a kuffiyeh from your average local pub (i’ve not outside London), let alone be troubled by anything so distressing as a Mahdi army raising the black flag of Islam over Buckingham Palace.
I am the first to be irritated by the latest PC concession and the first to concede that we have considerable, and self-inflicted, problems with radicalised youths. These are, however, self-made problems that can be self-corrected.
However, it is simply a fantasy, without basis other than dodgy demographics and a gutteral (if understandable) urge to “take them on”, to suppose that we are about to be “taken over”.
So, the lesson for Britain is: vote Conservative (not great, but the best bet), cause a stink when a looney-left council bans Christmas (these silly decisions are usually reversed, especially when the all-powerful Daily Mail gets involved) and order another pint of room temperature bitter.
