This should actually be seen as good news, IMO – something of a possible turning point:
- It was a tiny group of protestors.
- There was more or less universal disgust at the protesters.
- The leader (I forget his name) was invited to appear on the BBC to make his point, opposite a very respected retired army commander. He was allowed to make his point, and was very politely but effectively rebutted. The BBC presenter additionaly made it clear that his views were ridiculous.
- The leader has just recently been arrested for soliciting money for jihadists.
