You republicans never cease to amaze… you speak out one side of your mouths (Obama is spending too much) and then cry about F22 raptors that havent been used active combat in quite some time being cut. Then you talk of civil liberties and how Obama ‘wants to stop freedom of speech’ (where do you people get this stuff?) when Bush’s regime was amongst the most intrusive and ignorant this country has ever seen.
Here is how the repubs are conducting business right now. Step 1) Watch what the president is doing while opposing everything he does in an effort to stop any productivity and delay the turnout (or prevent it if possible) so that they can look like they were right. Step 2) Take anything that the public doesn’t like (whether it will work or not) and attach themselves to it in an effort to regain votes. (Omnibus, anyone? Repubs were for that bill before they were against it). Step 3) Hoot and holler about all the spending that’s going on and how it’s going to ruin us. (When it was their spending that put us in the deficit we’re in now… not to mention it was their war that has cost us billions of dollars and thousands of lives… you know, the one McCain wanted us to stay in for another hundred years?)
Wish we had McCain in office right now… with his economic experience and the popularity he would have had around the globe to mend the ties that Bush had destroyed… oh wait, we would be royally screwed with no end in sight. And contrary what the repubs will have you think… whats being done IS working, and will work more as the stimulus money begins to dump into the economy. Not everything the administration is doing is pretty, I can’t remember an administration who the opposition thought was always doing an excellent job, it will never happen… but the junk that’s said on this website by conservative kool-aid swallowers is unbelievable.
