Please, Chuck. It is simple, and every one of my comments has been about the same issue, which wasn’t raised by me.
Spinoneone claimed that Arab slave traders had something to do with the ancestors of black Americans, and that’s just not true. Nor does the word choice matter; I used the word I did because his word choice, “shipped,” doesn’t even fit the slave trade, unless he meant it in the same sense as “brought over themselves.” No one in that trade shipped slaves via intermediaries.
A simple point, unless of course it isn’t correct, but I don’t hear anyone saying so.
