“And while we’re speaking candidly, Michelle, you really do look ridiculous going sleeveless in winter.”

I thought the rest of what you said was good, but are you really concerned because she went sleeveless in the winter? Being from Florida and all where bikinis in January are a common sight, it seemed such a strange thing to say. I think the white shoes and matching purse rule was overturned a long time ago.

The Obamas bother me because they seem to think it is their duty to completely contrast the Bush’s as if we need exaggeration to see how much better and cooler they are. While Laura Bush sat in a chair and read to the little children, she gets down on the floor and hugs the little ones to the admiration of the media. While President Bush seemed awkward and fumbled words, Obama speaks eloquently (from a TelePrompter) and oozes cool to the admiration of the media. It almost as if they want to show that their invention is so much better than ours and the Obama’s are willingly obliging them. I picture some in the the media saying to each other: Now isn’t that better, see…we did good this time.

I want to think she’s a nice good woman but something bothers me about her as if they are both an invention rather than real.
