Most of the Libertarians I’ve met have been uncool, or only mildly cool. I’m also not sure Romney is your Libertarian hero, but I will admit he looks like a TV president.
Romney would have been the compromise candidate, but the liberals refused to compromise. They wanted McCain. And they got what they deserved. Defeat and ignominy.
And I’ve tried to create a situation where Libertarians could be given more respect. Unfortunately, it requires Libertarians to join up with Standard aka Social Conservatives to take the party back from the RINOs. And Libertarians seem to have a problem with classist bigotry…Maybe once they get over that, then they can play a much larger role in determining the course of the Party.
