Where is the reporting that the Washington-New York branch of the GOP actually gets it as to why the GOP was reduced to minority status in the House and Senate in 2006?
It is possible that good ideas are still developed outside of Washington, and then tried inside the Beltway. Ideas like the Contract with America.
But, I guess that is too far back for some.
