I agree with this view. The intelligent people grounded in values necessary for life are not going to be thrown off by this. We’ve already made up our mind about this.
Axelrod is signalling the media what their approach should be. He’s saying this is the narrative regarding Obama’s hate-filled, value-destroying past “so attack people related to the point of view that none of this past really happened and thus makes no difference. We say anyone who brings it up is a crackpot and a hater, so go to it boys.”
The value-creators are interested in having the country work for all people. The powerlusting value-destroyers are interested in lying their way to power. So they do.
