When any Democrats and most Republicans run for re-election, we should call them RECIDIVISTS. Repeat offenders! Perpetual perps! The Dems voted without reading the bill?
To label this confrontation political rivalry – Dems against Pubs – is to misunderestimate their intentions.
I weep that we’re insuring millions yet to be born will live in poverty, enslaved, solely because of our inaction.
I’d say all us vets can recall a mindset that said our Founding Fathers would have taken to the streets, far quicker, armed, outraged!!!! that one political party was even CONTEMPLATING, what they are rapidly succeeding in actually doing; and our Founding Fathers would have been filled with Judeo-Christian wrath, and focused on stamping out this incidious evil. All of them thinking something like “Lefto delenda est.”
Course, that’s just what I’ve been led to believe. Wow. Nearly 70 years in, and I find out my mental model was delusional, all this time. I served for what? My father’s service and his father’s service? Tens of hundreds of thousands brave souls lost for what?
Sacrifice – giving up a higher value for a lower value. Liberty is the higher value. We explicitly make it all a sacrifice, if we do not honor the gains they made in defending and advancing freedom. Over and over, whenever called.
Our majority Left (now calling themselves progressives because we’re on to the liberal thing) are only a coupla “clicks” different than the Taliban, philosophically. Is this guy the Ambassador or a suicide bomber? Or both? Hard to negotiate from strength in that environment.
The Democrat Agenda has morphed, rather more rapidly than I expected into a gameplan for overlording. They’d like you to view them as “clueless” – then they can just “apologize” if their objectives are not fully met. And try again.
Sending them a tea bag? That’ll sure have’m looking at their tracking polls, while they obscond with the country, and conspire to insure their re-elections in 2012, while we pay them to do it. How “civil” of you all.
How about sending them a postcard, including just a picture of a a weapon? With a tag line something like: This is a picture of a weapon – FOR NOW!
Would that statement be construed as “making a threat”? Well, if that’s considered a threat by our overloards to be, then we should know about they’re objections as soon-as-possible, provoking their initial response, to know better how far down that road to serfdom, they think we are. No?
