……………………………….
Dear John,
Please humor me here. You’ve made several statements that I’m unable to process with any amount of common sense. Mind explaining?
{see below}

1. Republicans are fooling ourselves if we think we can deport the 10-15 million illegals.
………………..
The more accurate number of Illegal Aliens in the USA is closer to 30,000 not including extended family, which would bring the figure to approx. 50,000. {bet the health care of this group would make you drop your drawers, lol}

Where did you get this idea of mass deportation?
Yelling “deportation” is the mantra perpetrated upon Americans by the Illegal Alien supporters such as La Raza, Lucac, Southern Poverty Law Center, et al. It has always been used in the attempt to crush the debate and hamper law enforcement. 287g comes to mind.

However, concerned citizens who’ve been deeply involved in solving this issue advocate drying up welfare/entitlements and workforce enforcement, which has proven to work with Illegal Aliens self deporting themselves.

side note:
It is important for everyone to understand the American tax payer funds billions of dollars to Mexico {and most other nations} in foreign aid. It would be more beneficial for the folks to go back home and work to build, create, grow and prosper. Otherwise, Mexico is quickly becoming a wasteland and will lose 2/3 of her population.

2. The article recommends good policy, and Republicans should get behind it.

We have free fire zones where Hispanic gangsters, children of immigrants, shoot it out.

In fact, legalization would greatly reduce the crime we are facing.
……………………………..
Please, John, Please explain HOW in a normal world would “legalizing” a group of people REDUCE CRIME?

What the hell am I missing? It’s as though you’re implying that we are being threatened and Illegals will not stop being violent unless and until they receive our precious citizenship? HUH???
Well….guess all I’ve got then is… Lock n Load.

3. MOST IMPORTANT!
Reagan, had an amnesty.
………………………..
President Reagan was interviewed shortly after he left office. The MSM asked this question: “Mr. President, is there anything you regret having done during your presidency? Anything that you would change if you could do it over again?”

Reagan thought for a few seconds and carefully stated {paraphrasing here but close}
“Yes. One thing. I regret having given an AMNESTY. That’s the one thing I would change.

Well, John, could have knocked me over with a feather! I saw that interview and never knew, until now, how powerful it would become.
Looking forward to your response.

PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH = Rule of Law

ps: I know what being born into a legal immigrant family is all about. We were taught the value of being an American, love of our Constitution and loyalty to our Founders while maintaining our unique culture. We grew up with an exemplary work ethic. Welfare of any sort was a very dirty word. Therein lies the difference in respect for Country, countrymen and the Rule of Law.

“Speaka d’ English” as my grandfather would bellow at the Sunday table after church. We certainly obeyed, lol.
