Forget Manhattan, Rudy’s appeal never left the National Poll. He was the front runner simply because of name recognition. Apparently he had nothing to offer specific voters beyond his name. Unfortunately, Rudy’s vaunted group of advisers never learned that macro-statistics don’t work on a micro-scale.
