In 1968 Bobby Rush went AWOL from the US Army, co-founded the state’s Black Panther Party and later was honorably discharged. (How the hell he got an honorable discharge is beyond me see what type of suit wearing convicts we have in office serving the public interests?)
In 1969, Bobby Rush served six months in prison for illegal possession of firearms.[16]
And if this does not top itt all off he was a founding member of the Black Panthers
Rush is a member of the Congressional Black Caucus, as well as a former member and founder of the Illinois chapter of the Black Panther Party.
This is why we have corrupt people I.E. Lawyers getting away with stuff ordinary people would be locked up for.
