When all is said and done, something like one-third of Florida’s GOP voters will have voted early or absentee. This is a huge deal, as it significantly decreases the helpfulness of the polls (and exit polls). Polls are snapshots; the Florida primary is not.

If Giuliani does significantly better than current polls indicate, early voting is probably the reason why. He was doing much better in the polls earlier in the voting period, and has made a concerted effort to get his supporters out to the polls early (hopefully not often).
