To my fellow bloggers who have remaked in detail on the subject of the current ammunition shortage. I am a resident of Texas and not far from the border with Mexico. The Mexican Federal government is fighting a losing battle with the Sinaloa and Gulf Drug Cartels. The Cartels are better financed. Better armed. And now we see, better trained. Their favored weapons are the full auto AK 47 and the RPG. Not the civilianized semi-auto AR-15 nor bolt action hunting rifles.

Here in the border counties of Texas, everyone I know, black, brown, and white, are stocking up on weapons and ammo for one reason. We expect the Cartels to make an armed incursion into the US once they believe they have neutralized the armed forces of the Mexican Government. Nor do many of us believe the current Administration will take any action to defend American soil were such an invasion to occur.

Indeed the mercemary commando’s that work for the Gulf Cartel, the much feared “Los Zetas”, are reputed to already be conducting assassination missions in the larger cities of San Antonio, El Paso, Houston, and Dallas. Los Zetas are former Meixcan Special Forces soldiers, trained by the US and now professional mercenaries. It is assumed at this point that the improvement in the tactical capabilities of the Cartels is largely due to them.

Call us what you may, but we will defend our homes and our families regardless of what the East and West Coast Liberals have to say about it.
