I agree that the muslim population here in Norway have some opinions that are highly disturbing. But we are far from being ruled by sharia law, as the initial post and more so the comments here imply.
Gays have never been as visible in society as they are today, and the “trend” is increasing. Certainly sexual orentation is no trend, but still I¬¥d say gay people are often considered trendy over here. Nobody will even raise and eyebrown if they see a gay couple on the streets. Gays are everywhere from not only showbiz but to national politics and sports.
And frankly I´ve not ever heard anyone complain about this Рnot even muslims. And even if the muslims started make any fuzz about it I´d find it hard to believe they would gain any support.
No, if muslim gangs attacking gays on the streets is indeed commonplace in Norway, we have a serious problem that need to be adressed. But I doubt it.
