Amsterdam is most certainly not “almost half Muslim.” While it is true that about half of Amsterdam’s population is foreign-born, this number includes many people from Suriname, the Antilles, elsewhere in Europe, etc.
The actual Muslim population of Amsterdam is closer to 20%.
